Bhiwandi School Celebrates Ashadhi Ekadashi with Bhakti Dindi

A school in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra, organized a special devotional procession called a Bhakti Dindi to celebrate Ashadhi Ekadashi.

Hundreds of young students from Classes I to IV participated, dressed in traditional Maharashtrian clothes.

Despite the rain, they marched from their school to the Vitthal Temple, carrying Tulsi plants and singing devotional songs.

The boys dressed as Lord Vitthal and Goddess Rukmini, while the girls carried decorated Tulsi plants.

The procession included music, dancing, and prayers.

The students also shared messages about protecting nature.

The school wanted to teach the children about their cultural heritage and the importance of devotion, discipline, and caring for the environment.
