Hundreds Of Thousands Return To Lebanon Amid Ongoing Displacement

Many people who had to leave their homes in Lebanon have now gone back.

The United Nations says about 860,000 people have returned.

However, about 360,000 people are still displaced.

At least 22,000 of them are living in shared shelters.

Other families are staying with relatives or in crowded rented homes.

Recent Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon made hundreds of families flee north again.

This happened even though ceasefire arrangements had been declared.

Aid groups do not have enough money to help everyone rebuild their homes and livelihoods.

This means the crisis is still not over.
