Redcliffe Labs and Skyroot Partner to Test Space Diagnostics

Redcliffe Labs and Skyroot Partner to Test Space Diagnostics

Doctors use special tests called diagnostics to find out why people are sick.

These tests use materials called reagents that react with samples from our bodies.

A company called Redcliffe Labs makes these testing materials.

Redcliffe Labs is teaming up with a space company called Skyroot Aerospace.

They want to send some of these test materials into space.

The materials will stay in space for 90 days, orbiting high above Earth.

Meanwhile, the same materials will stay on Earth so scientists can compare them.

This will show whether space changes how the materials work.

One day, the things they learn could help astronauts stay healthy in space.

It could also help people who live in faraway or difficult places on Earth get better medical care.
