Samantha Drops Surname, Will Be Known Simply

Samantha, a famous actress, has decided to drop her surname and be known simply as Samantha.

She was previously known as Samantha Ruth Prabhu and briefly as Samantha Akkineni during her marriage to actor Naga Chaitanya.

By doing this, she wants to keep her own identity separate from her marriage.

Other actresses like Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt have also kept their pre-marital surnames, but Samantha has gone a step further by dropping her surname entirely.
