Pezeshkian urges BRICS to challenge Western economic dominance

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian spoke to BRICS countries about changing how global trade works.

He wants countries to trade more using their own currencies instead of relying heavily on existing financial systems.

He said Western sanctions can hurt food supplies and people’s well-being.

Pezeshkian said BRICS should help create a world where no powerful country controls the future of others.

He also said Iran could help with energy and transportation routes.

He criticized attacks and damage affecting Iran and other parts of the region.

He asked BRICS to protect civilians and support peace and security.

His main message was that countries should cooperate to build a fairer and safer global system.
