Court Orders Salman Khan's Appearance in Pan Masala Ad Case
A court in Kota, Rajasthan, has asked Bollywood actor Salman Khan to come to court on January 20.
This is because someone named Indra Mohan Singh Honey said that Salman Khan and a company called Rajshree Pan Masala are tricking people with their ads.
The ads say the pan masala has saffron, but the person who complained thinks that's not true because saffron is very expensive.
The court also wants to check if Salman Khan's signature on some papers is real.
The person who complained thinks the signature is not his real one.
The court wants to make sure everything is correct.
A consumer court in Kota, Rajasthan, ordered a forensic examination of Salman Khan's signature on a power of attorney.
The court directed Salman Khan to appear in person on January 20.
The complaint was filed by advocate Indra Mohan Singh Honey, alleging misleading advertisements by Rajshree Pan Masala.
The complainant argued that saffron cannot be affordable in a pan masala pouch given its high cost.
The previous hearing on December 9 raised objections to Khan's signature on court documents.
