AU SFB Q3 Profit Rises 26% on Lower Provisions

AU Small Finance Bank (SFB) recently announced its results for the third quarter of the financial year 2026.

The bank made a profit of Rs 668 crore, which is 26% more than the same period last year.

This growth was mainly due to higher interest income and lower amounts set aside for bad loans.

The bank's loans and deposits both grew by 23% compared to last year.

Additionally, the bank added three new directors to its board and announced a promotion for its Chief Credit Officer, Vivek Tripathi, who will become an Executive Director after regulatory approval.

The bank's overall financial health looks good with stable ratios for bad loans and a healthy credit-deposit ratio.

However, the bank faces risks such as a competitive deposit environment and rising operating costs.
