Pune to Host Big Green Fest 2026

Pune is going to have a big event called The Big Green Fest 2026.

It's all about taking care of the environment.

There will be shows and exhibitions about things like managing trash, building houses in a way that's good for the planet, and making cities more sustainable.

The event is organized by the Sfurti Foundation and is part of a year-long program called Pune Climate Warrior, which teaches school kids about the environment.

Lots of different groups, like schools, colleges, NGOs, and even companies, will come together to talk about how to be more eco-friendly.

It's happening on January 17 and 18, 2026, at a place called Kalagram in Pune.

The idea for this event came from a former politician named Vandana Chavan.
