India's Passport Ranking Declines to 85th, US Falls Out of Top 10

Imagine passports are like passes that let you visit different countries without needing a special ticket (a visa).

The Henley Passport Index ranks these passes by how many countries you can visit easily.

This year, India's passport pass has become weaker, letting its citizens visit fewer places visa-free, dropping them to 85th place.

The United States' pass, usually very strong, has also slipped, falling out of the top 10 for the first time.

This means both countries' citizens have a bit less easy access to travel around the world compared to before.

Asian countries like Singapore, South Korea, and Japan still have the strongest passport passes.
