Telangana Chief Secretary Calls for Export Growth Action Plan
The state of Telangana in India wants to sell more goods to other countries.
The top government official, Sanjay Jaju, said the state already sold a lot of products, but there are problems that stop exporters from doing even more.
He asked all the state departments to make a plan that fixes these problems, builds better roads and ports, and finds new places to sell.
He also wants the state to work closely with the national trade agency, DGFT.
The plan will help farmers, poultry farmers, and spice growers sell more outside India.
Telangana’s exports reached Rs 1.22 lakh crore in 2025‑26.
Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju urged a detailed roadmap to boost exports.
Plan will address exporter bottlenecks, strengthen logistics, and find new markets.
Coordination among state departments and with DGFT is key.
Focus sectors include agriculture, horticulture, poultry, vegetable seeds, and red chilli.
