Ram Jal Setu Project Phase 1 Approved for Water Supply
Imagine a giant water highway being built in Rajasthan!
The government is starting a project called Ram Jal Setu to bring water to places that need it.
They're building a long, raised canal over a river, like a bridge for water.
This canal will carry water from other rivers to help farms and people have enough water to drink.
This first part of the project will cost a lot of money and help many areas.
It will help make sure people have water, and it might even make it easier to travel around the area.
The Ram Jal Setu project's first phase is approved after receiving a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
The project aims to transport water from the Banas basin to arid districts in Rajasthan.
Phase 1 will involve building an elevated canal near the Banas River.
The project will benefit 17 districts, including Dausa, Sawai Madhopur, Bharatpur, and Alwar.
