SP Vows to Defeat BJP in 2027 on Patel's Anniversary
On a day remembering Sardar Patel, a leader who helped unite India, the Samajwadi Party made a big promise.
Their leader, Akhilesh Yadav, told everyone that his party will work hard to win the next election in 2027 and remove the current government.
He said they want to follow Patel's example by making sure everyone in the state is treated fairly and the country stays strong together.
Akhilesh also said the government is planning to sell important farming markets to private companies, which he believes will hurt farmers.
He mentioned that a small increase in the price of sugarcane wasn't enough, and farmers are also struggling to get needed supplies like fertilizer.
He also talked about other problems like corruption and bad law and order, saying the government is protecting people involved in crimes.
Samajwadi Party (SP) vowed to defeat the BJP in the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
SP leaders pledged to uphold Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's ideals of unity, integrity, and social justice.
Akhilesh Yadav alleged that the Uttar Pradesh government plans to privatize agricultural markets (mandis).
The SP criticized the recent Rs 30 per quintal increase in sugarcane price as insufficient and questioned the government's spending on advertisements.
Allegations of widespread corruption and issues with fertilizer shortages were also raised by the SP.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Government
Implicitly, the BJP government's actions are presented as pro-farmer by increasing sugarcane prices, although the SP disputes the effectiveness of these measures.
Sugarcane Price Increase
Samajwadi Party (SP)
The SP considers the Rs 30 per quintal increase in sugarcane price to be 'too little and too late,' questioning the government's spending on advertisements rather than farmer benefits.

The government has increased the sugarcane price by Rs 30 per quintal.
Farmer Support and Resources
Samajwadi Party (SP)
The SP claims farmers are not receiving Minimum Support Price, face shortages of fertilizers, DAP, and pesticides, and questions the reach of government advertisements to farmers.

The government has announced steps and increased sugarcane prices, implying support for farmers, though the SP contests their efficacy.
