Retired Bank Employee Loses ₹29 Lakh in Bhopal Investment Scam
A retired bank employee in Bhopal was contacted about an investment opportunity.
The people who contacted him promised very large profits from a company based in the United Kingdom.
He first invested a small amount and saw what appeared to be profits in his account.
This encouraged him to send more money.
When he tried to take his money back, the fraudsters demanded even more money.
He then realized the investment was fake and contacted the police.
