Centre Allocates Rs 500 Crore for Rakhigarhi Development
The Indian government is giving a lot of money (Rs 500 crore) to make Rakhigarhi, an ancient Harappan civilization site in Haryana, into a famous worldwide landmark.
They want to build a big museum, research center, and better places for tourists to visit.
This will help people learn about the advanced city planning, cleanliness, and water systems that the Harappan people had thousands of years ago.
The government also wants to put Rakhigarhi on the UNESCO World Heritage List, which would make it even more special.
They're also giving money to the local villages and talking about how women in ancient Harappan society were respected and had equal rights.
