NCP MLA Demands FIR Over Moshi Plant Collapse
A waste‑to‑energy plant in Moshi collapsed on July 8, killing nine workers.
Rohit Pawar, an NCP MLA, says the collapse happened because city officials and the private company that ran the plant were careless.
He wants a police report (FIR) filed against them and says the city should give the families a big payment.
He also says the city dumped trash on a nearby river, which is bad for the environment.
The city and the company have not yet paid the families the full amount they promised.
Rohit Pawar says if no FIR is filed, his party will protest against the city.
The incident shows how important it is to keep safety rules and clean up trash properly.
Nine workers died when a waste‑to‑energy plant collapsed on July 8 at Moshi garbage depot.
NCP MLA Rohit Pawar demands a police report (FIR) against PCMC officials and the private firm that ran the plant.
Pawar blames BJP MLA Mahesh Landge for protecting the officials and the firm.
He says the city ignored environmental warnings and dumped trash on the Indrayani River.
Pawar wants Rs 1 crore compensation for victims’ families, citing the company’s lower offer of Rs 25 lakh.
