Madhya Pradesh Launches First Helicopter Service to Boost Tourism
Madhya Pradesh has started its very first helicopter service to help people visit its beautiful tourist spots and important religious places more easily.
The Chief Minister launched this new service on the state's 70th birthday.
It will fly between popular places like Bhopal and Pachmarhi, Indore and Ujjain, and Jabalpur and national parks.
This service will help tourists see more in less time and is expected to bring more visitors to the state.
It's also a way to help people in rural areas and support local businesses.
The state is also building more airports and is already offering air ambulance services.
Madhya Pradesh launched its first helicopter service, the 'PM Shri Tourism Helicopter Service', to enhance tourism.
The service will initially connect key tourist destinations including Bhopal-Pachmarhi-Madhai, Indore-Ujjain-Omkareshwar, and Jabalpur-Kanha-Bandhavgarh.
Operated under a public-private partnership by Trans Bharat Aviation and Jet Serve Aviation Pvt Ltd, the service will run five days a week.
The initiative aims to promote rural employment, home-stay ventures, local handicrafts, and is projected to double tourist numbers by 2030.
A new airport is also planned for Ujjain as part of the state's efforts to improve aviation connectivity and tourism.
