Rajasthan Monsoon: 193 Dead, Heavy Rainfall Damages State
Rajasthan has been hit hard by heavy monsoon rains.
Sadly, 193 people have died, and many have been injured.
The state has received much more rain than usual this year, causing many houses to collapse and killing livestock.
However, the rain has also been good for farming, filling up dams and providing water for crops.
The government is assessing the damage and helping those affected, with ministers and MLAs visiting their areas to assist.
193 people have died in Rajasthan due to heavy rainfall during the monsoon season.
The state has received 62.5% more rainfall this year compared to the previous year.
Significant damage includes the collapse of almost 2,700 houses and the death of over 600 cattle.
Increased rainfall has led to overflowing dams and a boost in water availability for agriculture.
The government is surveying crop damage and providing compensation to affected families.
