NDMC Announces Infrastructure, Smart Initiatives, and Monsoon Preparedness
The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) is working to improve things for people in Delhi.
They're getting ready for the monsoon season by cleaning drains and setting up emergency teams.
They are also rebuilding roads and putting in systems to stop dust.
NDMC is also creating smart classrooms in schools with new technology and have approved a long-term plan for clean water.
Additionally, they will be organizing a 'Seva Pakhwada' from September 17 to October 2 to celebrate PM Modi's birthday, with programs focused on public health and community services.
NDMC is preparing for monsoon with a control room and emergency teams.
Drains are being de-silted, and a sump has been installed to prevent water-logging.
79 major roads will be reconstructed in collaboration with CSIR-CRRI.
Smart classrooms will be created in NDMC schools with digital learning tools.
A 25-year water supply plan has been approved for residents.
