Supreme Court Upholds Defamation Conviction of Medha Patkar

The Supreme Court decided not to change the ruling that Medha Patkar is guilty of defaming V.K. Saxena.

This case started because of things she said in 2001.

Saxena, who is now the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, sued her.

The Supreme Court said the original decision was correct, but they removed the fine.

This case has been going through different courts for a while, but now it has been decided in the Supreme Court.
