EPFO to Launch Instant PF Withdrawals via UPI, ATMs in June 2025

Now, the government wants to make it super easy to get your money when you need it.
Starting June 2025, you can instantly withdraw money from your retirement fund using your phone or an ATM.
This means no more waiting for days or weeks!
You'll be able to get up to 1 lakh rupees instantly, especially helpful in emergencies.
Also, retirees can now access pensions from any bank, making life easier.
It's all about making money stuff simpler and faster for everyone!
EPFO members will soon be able to instantly withdraw PF funds via UPI and ATMs.
This initiative, supported by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, is set to launch in June 2025.
Members can withdraw up to ₹1 lakh instantly, especially helpful in emergencies.
The EPF scheme will expand permissible withdrawal reasons, giving employees greater financial flexibility.
Pensioners under the Employees’ Pension Scheme (EPS) of 1995 will be able to access pensions from any bank branch starting January 1, 2025.
