Dhruva Space, Thales Alenia Space Explore Global Space Programmes
Dhruva Space is an Indian company that designs and builds space technology.
It has signed an agreement with Thales Alenia Space, which operates in France and Italy.
The two companies want to look for ways to work together on space projects.
These projects could include groups of satellites flying close to Earth.
They could also involve satellite parts, factories, testing and ground stations.
The agreement may cover equipment for human spaceflight and cargo missions.
Dhruva Space says its engineering and manufacturing skills could support international programmes.
The companies had already worked together before this agreement.
Dhruva Space signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding with Thales Alenia Space entities in France and Italy.
The agreement will explore cooperation on satellite programmes and space infrastructure.
Potential areas include Low Earth Orbit constellations, satellite platforms, subsystems, production, integration and ground stations.
The companies may also examine manned space infrastructure and cargo services.
Dhruva Space said the MoU creates a pathway for future international programmes, building on an existing relationship.
