CJI Calls New Kerala Court Complexes Investment in Justice

Two new court buildings have opened in Kerala.

They are in Irinjalakuda and Chavakkad.

Chief Justice of India Surya Kant said the buildings will make courts easier for people to reach and use.

The Kerala government spent Rs 100 crore on them.

The buildings have rooms for mediation, counselling and women lawyers.

Mediation can help people settle disagreements without a full trial.

The CJI said courts should be welcoming to people in cities, villages and remote tribal areas.

He could not attend in person because floods were affecting parts of Kerala.
