NCLT Stays Sale of Byju's Subsidiary Assets Amid Valuation Dispute

NCLT Stays Sale of Byju's Subsidiary Assets Amid Valuation Dispute

Byju's parent company is going through a formal insolvency process.

Some equipment and other assets connected to a subsidiary were auctioned.

The assets were said to be worth about Rs 150 crore, but they were sold for about Rs 16 crore.

Another resolution professional asked the tribunal to pause further movement of the assets.

The tribunal was also told that the buyer's listed office was locked during visits.

The NCLT ordered everyone to keep the assets where they are for now.

It asked the buyer to list what it purchased and show where the items are stored.

The tribunal will consider the matter again on September 21.
