Khalin Joshi Extends Nava Raipur Open Lead After Round Two
Khalin Joshi is leading a golf tournament in Naya Raipur.
He played his second round without making a bogey, which is a score worse than par on a hole.
His four-under round moved him to nine-under overall.
He is now two shots ahead of four golfers tied for second place.
Heavy rain made the course unsuitable for normal 18-hole rounds.
Because of this, every round is being played over the back nine.
The tournament has a prize fund of INR 1 crore.
Only 56 of the 132 golfers made the cut and will play the last two rounds.
Khalin Joshi shot a bogey-free four-under 30 to reach nine-under 59 and lead by two shots.
Heavy rain forced organizers to stage all four rounds over the course’s back nine.
Aryav Shah, Subash Tamang, Akshay Neranjen and Raunil Kukar share second at seven-under 61.
Seven players share sixth place at six-under 62, including Sunit Chowrasia and Veer Ahlawat.
The cut fell at three-under 65, with 56 of 132 players advancing to the final rounds.
