Police Investigate Source of Foreign Currency in Theft Case
In Vadodara, India, a gift shop owner reported a theft of Rs 10 lakh.
However, the police found a much larger amount of foreign currency worth Rs 2.7 crore from the seven accused arrested in the case.
The police are now investigating where this foreign currency came from.
The complainant, Lilaram Revani, had a licensed forex trading business in the past but hasn't shown any current license.
The police are questioning why the theft was reported as only Rs 10 lakh and are conducting a detailed investigation to find out the truth.
Two more accused are still at large and will be questioned once caught.
