Karnataka HC Grants Interim Bail to BJP MLA
The Karnataka High Court has given temporary bail to a BJP politician named Byrathi Basavaraj.
He was in trouble because of a case involving the murder of a man called Biklu Shiva, who was known as a rowdy sheeter.
The court said Basavaraj can be free for now but must help with the investigation.
The court also said they will hear more about his bail request on January 6.
Basavaraj's lawyers said he has been cooperating with the police and there are no good reasons for the delay in the case.
The police had earlier said they would look out for Basavaraj if he tried to leave.
