Trump’s Moscow Mystery Raises Questions About Two Wars

John Ratcliffe, the head of America’s CIA, secretly traveled to Moscow.

He reportedly spoke with Russian intelligence officials but not Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The trip happened while the United States was dealing with wars involving Russia and Ukraine, and Iran.

Russia has close relationships with Iran, so it might be able to help with the Iran conflict.

President Donald Trump has also said he wants to end the Russia-Ukraine war.

The United States reportedly offered Iran relief from some pressure if it reopened the Strait of Hormuz and stopped attacks by groups connected to Iran.

Iran has apparently not accepted that offer.

No one publicly knows whether Ratcliffe went to discuss Russia, Iran, or both, and no agreement has been announced.
