Canal System Approved for Ujh River
Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh announced that a canal system on the Ujh River has been approved to stop water from flowing uncontrolled to Pakistan.
This project, along with others like the Delhi–Amritsar–Katra Expressway and the Ujh Multipurpose Project, aims to improve water management and connectivity.
The Minister also highlighted healthcare initiatives, such as new radiation services and an MRI facility in Kathua.
He emphasized that the government is working to improve the quality of life for all citizens, regardless of political or geographical differences.
The projects are part of a broader effort to develop Kathua into a hub for education, healthcare, and economic activity.
