H-FAST Raid Finds Unhygienic Conditions at Jalpally Soya Unit
A team from H-FAST and the city’s food safety office went to a factory in Jalpally on July 28, 2026.
They found the workers washing and making soya chunks with bare hands and even feet, which is not clean.
The place had flies, bad smells, and no proper records.
The officials threw away the contaminated food right there and started a legal case.
This is to keep people from getting sick from bad food.
H-FAST and GHMC officials inspected Urvi Food Products in Jalpally on July 28, 2026.
Workers were seen handling soya chunks with bare hands and feet, violating hygiene standards.
The facility had poor sanitation, housefly infestation, and lacked basic hygiene protocols.
Mandatory records were missing and raw/final products were stored improperly, risking contamination.
