Petitions Challenge Jharkhand Cancellation of 22 Recruitment Exams

The Jharkhand government cancelled 22 recruitment exams and ordered investigations into 23 more.

These exams were used to select people for government jobs.

Some candidates had already passed the exams and been appointed.

They now worry that they could lose their jobs.

Avdhesh Kumar and other candidates asked the Jharkhand High Court to help them.

The cancelled exams included tests for teachers, doctors, forest officers and other positions.

The government said there were allegations of cheating and other problems.

The court will consider the candidates’ challenge to the cancellations.
