Mausam Noor Returns to Congress
Mausam Noor, who was a member of the Trinamool Congress, has decided to go back to the Congress party.
She is currently a Rajya Sabha MP, but her term is ending soon.
The Trinamool Congress thinks she left because she was unsure about getting another nomination for the Rajya Sabha and because she had some personal disagreements within the party.
She might run in the upcoming elections in West Bengal from the Malda district.
Some people in the Trinamool Congress are not happy with her decision, but others think it won't affect the party much.
The Congress party welcomed her back in the presence of some of its leaders.
Mausam Noor returned to Congress from Trinamool Congress ahead of West Bengal Assembly polls.
Her current Rajya Sabha term ends in April, and she may contest from Malda.
Trinamool Congress alleges personal conflicts and displeasure over campaigning for her cousin.
Noor joined Congress in Delhi with party leaders Jairam Ramesh, Ghulam Ahmed Mir, and Shuvankar Sarkar.
Trinamool leaders express mixed reactions, some criticizing her while others downplay the impact.
