Late Alabama Personal Foul Helps Georgia Seal 20-17 Victory

Late Alabama Personal Foul Helps Georgia Seal 20-17 Victory

Georgia beat Alabama 20-17 on Saturday night.

Near the end, Alabama needed to stop Georgia to have another chance to score.

After a short run, Alabama’s Dijon Lee Jr. shoved a Georgia player in the helmet.

Officials called a penalty, which gave Georgia a new first down.

Georgia then ran out the clock by kneeling three times.

Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer said the team needed to show better emotional maturity.

Keon Sabb said he supported Lee but that the play did not meet the team’s standard.

DeBoer also said Alabama had to focus on what it could control, after officials did not call pass interference on an earlier play.
