Russia Condemns Efforts to Undermine US Dialogue

Kirill Dmitriev, Russia's economic negotiator, visited the US and spoke out against efforts to stop talks between the two countries.

This visit happened after the US put sanctions on Russian oil companies.

Dmitriev met with US officials and talked about improving relations.

He claims there are attempts to sabotage these talks.

During his visit, Dmitriev also met with a US congresswoman to encourage dialogue between US and Russian lawmakers.

Russia has consistently rejected a ceasefire in Ukraine, where a recent attack in Kyiv resulted in casualties.
