DDA Flat Sales Surge Over Three Years

DDA Flat Sales Surge Over Three Years

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has seen a big increase in the number of flats they've sold over the last three years.

In 2022-23, they sold 2,511 flats, but in 2023-24, that number jumped to 7,842, and in 2024-25, it went up to 8,538.

This year, they've already sold 6,783 flats in just eight months.

The DDA has also made more money from these sales, going from Rs 665 crore in 2022-23 to Rs 3,176 crore in 2024-25.

Officials say this is because of better housing policies, marketing, and customer service.

They've also completed some important road and metro projects, which have helped.

However, the DDA still has a lot of unsold flats in Narela, especially in the Low Income Group (LIG) category.

These flats are cheaper because of discounts, but people don't want to buy them because the area lacks good connectivity and has other problems like bad construction and no security.

The DDA is trying to fix this by renaming the area and making it a hub for education and sports.
