PMO to move to Seva Teerth

PMO to move to Seva Teerth

The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) is moving from South Block, where it has been since India's independence, to a new complex called Seva Teerth.

This move is part of a big government project to redevelop the Central Vista area in Delhi.

The new complex also includes offices for the Cabinet Secretariat and the National Security Council Secretariat.

The PMO is expected to move after January 14.

The old South Block will be turned into a museum for the public to visit.

The new complex was built by Larsen and Toubro and cost about Rs.

1189 crore.

The move is significant because it marks the end of an era for the PMO in South Block.
