From Secret JEE Retake to Coffin Dance at IIT Guwahati
Aryan Srivastava first studied at MNNIT Allahabad, but he still wanted another chance to enter an IIT.
He kept studying for the JEE Advanced exam while also doing his college work.
In 2024, he earned a rank that helped him join IIT Guwahati.
He chose to study Biosciences and Bioengineering because he wanted to keep different career paths open.
At college, his guitar helped him make friends, and he joined clubs and performed with bands.
One time, his band played a song famous as the coffin-dance meme for a crowd that included professors.
Aryan also took on a campus events role he had not expected.
His experience included organising activities and making friendships, not just studying engineering.
After a medical situation disrupted his 2023 JEE Advanced attempt, Aryan Srivastava joined MNNIT Allahabad.
While enrolled at MNNIT, he secretly prepared for another attempt and earned AIR 8703 in JEE Advanced 2024.
He joined IIT Guwahati in July 2024 to study Biosciences and Bioengineering.
At IIT Guwahati, he joined campus clubs and bands, including a performance of the coffin-dance meme track for an audience that included professors.
