Aishe Ghosh Says Gen Z Movement Challenged Authoritarianism Nationwide

Aishe Ghosh spoke about a Gen Z movement at a seminar in Vijayawada.

She said young people had stood up to authoritarianism and arrogance.

She also thanked students who joined the movement across the country.

Ghosh said 96,000 schools had closed during the past seven years.

She argued that the National Education Policy-2020 was weakening education.

She said the movement encouraged younger Gen Alpha students to speak about their problems.

Another speaker, KS Lakshmana Rao, said movements can help people question injustice.

The event also discussed education problems in Andhra Pradesh and released a book called Silence Was Broken.
