Myanmar's Shunda Park: Inside a Scam Empire

Imagine a big office building where hundreds of people work together to trick others online.

This place is called Shunda Park in Myanmar.

These people, called scammers, pretend to be someone they're not to make friends with people on the internet.

They might pretend to be a handsome man or a beautiful woman.

They talk to these people for months, making them feel special.

Then, they tell them about fake investment opportunities to steal their money.

They use fake pictures, videos, and even actors to make their lies seem real.

One of the fake companies they use is called RTAI, which claims to be a big investment company but is actually non-existent.

The scammers even have detailed manuals on how to trick different groups of people.

Recently, a group fighting against the Myanmar military took over Shunda Park and found out all these secrets.
