IMD warns of heavy rain in Telangana
The Indian Meteorological Department in Hyderabad has warned that there will be heavy rain in Telangana for the next three days.
This is because of a low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal and other weather conditions.
The rain is expected to be very heavy in some northern districts, with strong winds up to 30-40 kmph.
While this rain is good for farming, it could also cause flooding and damage.
The rain is expected to continue until August 2, with southern districts getting moderate rain and Hyderabad getting light rain.
IMD Hyderabad issues heavy rainfall alert for Telangana for the next three days till July 30.
Heavy rainfall expected in northern districts with strong winds up to 30-40 kmph.
Rainfall attributed to a low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal and secondary convergence associated with depression in Central India.
Expected cumulative rainfall of 100-120mm in some places over the next four days.
Southern districts, including Hyderabad, expected to receive moderate to light rain.
