Israeli Drones Drop Grenades Near UN Peacekeepers in Lebanon
Imagine some peacekeepers from the United Nations, who are like helpers in the world, were trying to clear some blocked roads so they could get to their work spot.
Suddenly, drones, which are like flying robots, dropped some small bombs, called grenades, very close to the peacekeepers.
The UN team in Lebanon said this was a dangerous event.
The attack came after the UN Security Council voted unanimously last week to terminate the UN peacekeeping force in southern Lebanon at the end of next year after nearly five decades.
UNIFIL said any actions that endanger U.N. peacekeepers and assets or interfere with their tasks are unacceptable and a serious violation of international law.
