Odisha Governor Launches Two Centres for Indigenous Knowledge

Odisha Governor Kambhampati Hari Babu opened two new centres in Visakhapatnam.

One centre will study Indic knowledge systems, and the other will study ethnic knowledge systems.

These centres will look at traditional ideas and practices developed by communities over many generations.

They will document this knowledge and help people understand it today.

The centres will also support researchers, teachers and students.

They may organise programmes, publish work and spread public awareness.

The Governor said traditional knowledge is an important part of India’s cultural heritage.

He also said young people should learn about it through careful study and research.
