CPP Investments and IndoSpace Acquire Six Logistics Parks
CPP Investments and IndoSpace, through their joint venture IndoSpace Core, have bought six big industrial and logistics parks in India.
These parks are worth ₹3,000 crore and cover a lot of land, about 380 acres, with space for businesses to rent.
CPP Investments is putting in a big part of the money, ₹1,400 crore, to help with this purchase.
These parks are in important cities like Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, and Hyderabad.
The people in charge say this is a good investment because India's logistics sector is growing fast.
After this purchase, IndoSpace Core will have even more space to rent out, about 22 million square feet, and will serve over 120 companies.
They think this will be a good way to make money for the people who invested.
CPP Investments and IndoSpace's joint venture IndoSpace Core acquired six industrial and logistics parks in India for ₹3,000 crore ($300 million).
The assets cover 380 acres and add 9 million sq ft of leasable space to IndoSpace Core’s portfolio.
CPP Investments, with a 93% stake in IndoSpace Core, contributed ₹1,400 crore ($217 million) towards the acquisition.
The parks are located in major logistics hubs including Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, and Hyderabad.
The acquisition expands IndoSpace Core’s portfolio to 22 million sq ft of leasable area across 948 acres, serving over 120 global and domestic companies.
