Southern Railway Implements Sustainability Initiatives

The Thiruvananthapuram Division of Southern Railway is working to be more eco-friendly!

They're doing this through many different activities, like teaching people about the environment, planting trees, and cleaning up stations.

They've held events where people promise to help protect the planet, and they've given away plants to encourage people to grow them.

The railway also celebrated a big event - 100 years of using electricity to run trains!

All this is part of a plan to make the railway a more sustainable part of the community.
