MP High Court Restrains Media on Ambedkar Statue Protest Coverage
Imagine there's a disagreement between two groups of lawyers about putting up a statue of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar at the courthouse.
One group wants it, and the other doesn't.
The group against the statue is planning a protest.
Someone filed a case saying the protest might be dangerous for people, especially kids, and asked the news channels not to talk about it.
The High Court agreed and told the government to ask the news media to hold off on reporting about the protest call for now.
This is to make sure things stay safe before the planned protest happens.
The Madhya Pradesh High Court has instructed authorities to temporarily stop media coverage of a protest call related to an Ambedkar statue.
The protest is planned for November 16 at the Gwalior bench of the High Court.
A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) was filed, citing potential danger to life and property from the protest.

The PIL also requested the media not to publicize the protest call.
