Mahindra Finance Approves Rural Housing Merger, Shareholders Get 1.8 Shares

Mahindra Finance is a big company in India that helps people get loans for vehicles and farming.

It also has a daughter company called Mahindra Rural Housing Finance that gives loans to people for building houses.

The parent company has decided to bring the daughter company inside it.

This means the two companies will become one big company.

People who owned shares of the daughter company will get some shares of the parent company instead — 1.8 shares for every 10 they had.

This is like swapping your old toys for new ones and getting a little extra.

The change will not happen right away.

Many important people and offices have to say yes first, including a special court.

The plan may start on April 1, 2027.

Once finished, the company hopes to save money and offer customers more types of loans in one place.
