This parasite causes bad diarrhea.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) told people not to eat shredded iceberg lettuce from Taco Bell in those states.
A company called Taylor Fresh Foods, which supplies the lettuce, is removing all iceberg lettuce from Mexico from the US market.
The outbreak has caused over 5,000 cases in Michigan and many more in other states.
People who get sick usually feel better with antibiotics.
