Céline Dion Comeback Drives Global Culture-Tripping Surge in Paris
Céline Dion is returning to the stage in Paris after six years away from live touring.
She is scheduled to perform 16 shows beginning September 12.
Another 10 concerts have been added for May 2027.
Hundreds of thousands of fans are expected to travel to see her.
Many visitors are staying in Paris for several nights instead of only a weekend.
This extra travel is expected to bring large amounts of money to the region.
French fans are also traveling from cities including Bastia, Ajaccio, Toulouse, and Nice.
Fans should be careful because scammers are selling fake concert tickets online.

International flight searches to Paris have risen 11%, while overall bookings are up 5%.
The Île-de-France region could gain between €570 million and nearly €1 billion in 2026.
