EOW Registers Case Over Unpaid Dues for Oxygen Plants in MoD Hospitals
A company called Katyayani Enterprises installed oxygen plants in hospitals run by the Ministry of Defence during the Covid-19 pandemic.
They were supposed to be paid Rs 13 crore by another company called Medion Healthcare, but they say they were not paid.
After four years, the police have started investigating this issue.
The oxygen plants were part of a bigger project to help hospitals during the pandemic.
The police are now looking into why the payment was not made.
Delhi Police's Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has registered a case over alleged non-payment of Rs 13 crore for installing oxygen plants in MoD hospitals during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Katyayani Enterprises signed a contract with Medion Healthcare in 2021 to set up 23 static oxygen generation plants in various MoD hospitals.
Medion Healthcare was given the contract by Viskho Corporation, which had been contracted by the MoD to award work for installing oxygen plants.
