Bengal BJP Opens Temporary NaMo Malls Ahead of Puja
The Bengal BJP has opened temporary stalls called NaMo Malls for the Puja season.
One opened in Panihati on Thursday.
People can buy festive clothes there, with some items costing as little as Rs 10.
The party says these are temporary stalls, not permanent malls.
It plans to set up more in districts across the state.
The programme is linked to an initiative called Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.
Party leaders say the stalls are meant to help ordinary people get clothes for the festival.
The BJP also hopes the stalls will help it meet voters before local elections.
