Assamese Short Film 'Ekaki' to Screen in Guwahati on August 10

A short film called 'Ekaki,' meaning 'solitary,' is set to be shown in Guwahati.

The film's director, Rupam Jyoti Malakar, has been working on this project for three years and calls it a personal reflection.

Veteran actor Chetana Das, who is in the film, found it very relatable, especially due to the feelings she had during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The film has already won awards at various film festivals.

The screening will be held on August 10, 2025, at Aideo Cinema Hall.
